Rapper Lil Pump was arrested after he fired a gun at his home, but was released shortly afterwards.

The rapper, 17, was arrested on February 14, reports tmz.com.

Law enforcement sources said that Pump's manager called police to report that three men were trying to forcibly open the front door of the rapper's San Fernando Valley home, with one suspect firing a gun once through the door.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a bullet hole in the front door. However, they didn't see any suspect and the lone bullet hole in the door appeared to come from inside the residence.

They also said he had been smoking marijuana before they arrived.

A few hours later, police returned with a search warrant and found a handgun in the bushes below the balcony. The weapon was unloaded, but police found bullets and marijuana inside his home. Pump was eventually arrested for discharging a weapon in an inhabited place.

Pump's mother could also face charges. She wasn't home at the time of the incident, but police said she is now under investigation for endangering a minor and having an unsecured gun at home.

The rapper was booked into the Los Angeles Central Juvenile Hall and released shortly after. When he was seen leaving the court, he appeared to be not taking the case seriously and even laughed it off.

"Aye man, we got rich lawyers. Real lawyers. The best lawyers in the planet. Aye, listen. See my ankle?" he said before singing his hit track "Gucci Gang".

Pump changed the lyrics to "house arrest," though.
