Sabine Lisicki, seeded 24th, upset fourth seed and last year's finalist Agnieszka Radwanska to reach the women's singles final at Wimbledon here Thursday.

The 24-year-old, also a semifinalist in 2011, will fight for the title against 15th seed and 2007 runner-up Marion Bartoli for the lone grass court major title Saturday, reports Xinhua.

Lisicki, who hails from Germany, took the opening set 6-4 but slumped to a 2-6 defeat in the second. She appeared sure to go out after dropping to 0-3 in the third set but battled back and finally took it 9-7 in a Centre Court thriller.

Frenchwoman Bartoli won 6-1, 6-2 against 20th-ranked Belgian Kirsten Flipkens in just over an hour.

"Unbelievable. It is a battle. I believe I can fight back no matter what the score is," Lisicki said after the match.
