Louis Walsh will not continue his role as a judge on Britain's singing reality show "The X Factor" post the 10th series this year.

Walsh has been associated with the show as a judge ever since it started in 2003 and has decided to bow out with grace after a decade long association, reports contactmusic.com.

"I'm happy this is going to be my last year. I've been judging X Factor for 10 years so I've done it all," TV Times magazine quoted Walsh as saying.

The 10th season is currently auditioning people across Britain and will soon announce the final contestants.

Walsh shares the judge's panel with Sharon Osbourne, Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger.

A spokesperson of "The X Factor" said: "We're delighted Louis is back for a record breaking 10th series this year. It's far too early to say what the judging panel for 2014 may or may not look like."
