Singer Demi Lovato expressed her gratitude to fans for their outpouring support after the death of her beloved dog Buddy.
The "Cool for the summer" songstress posted a photo-collage on her Instagram page on Friday featuring nine photographs of herself and Buddy, reports aceshowbiz.com.
With the image, Lovato wrote: "We can't thank you all enough. This has been the most painful week of my life but because Wilmer and I had so much love and support, I've been able to stay strong and will continue to get through this difficult time."
The 22-year-old star continued: "The outpour of love and support has been unbelievable and it means the world to us. Love you all tons and ton."
In line with Lovato, her beau Wilmer Valderrama took to Twitter to thank fans for their kindness in the wake of their loss.
"Thank u all sweet people that've showed @ddlovato & me support & love during this time & for loving our little guy (@DemisBuddy) We love u," he tweeted on July 30.
The singer's dog was killed in an attack by a coyote at their home here on July 26.
