Bundesliga football club Mainz has completed a loan deal with Stoke City midfielder Bojan Krkic Perez.
The 26-year-old striker, who began his professional career with Barcelona, has put pen to paper on a six-month loan deal, reports Xinhua news agency.
"With Bojan we signed a powerful, dangerous and creative midfielder with outstanding qualities. He can play on all offensive positions," Mainz' head coach Martin Schmidt told the club's official website on Sunday.
Commenting on the development Bojan said: "It is an honour for me that Mainz gave me the opportunity to prove myself in another European top league. I am looking forward to the team as well as to the supporters and to help Mainz on the pitch soon."
The Spaniard played until 2011 for Barcelona and scored 26 goals in 104 appearances. After several loan deals in Europe's top flight leagues, he has played since 2014 for Premier League side Stoke City where he scored 14 goals in 52 outings.
