The embassy of Malaysia in Nepal's capital Kathmandu resumed full-fledged operations from Monday after the office was shifted to a new location last week.

Following the April 25 devastating earthquake in Nepal, the embassy was shifted to a new location in Lalitpur district, the Malaysian Star reported.

"Yes, we have resumed full-fledged work," Charge d'Affairs of the Malaysian embassy in Kathmandu, Fadli Adilah, said.

The embassy had suspended its operations for some days as the building that housed the office was badly damaged by the earthquake and was declared unsafe.

However, it resumed partial or limited operations after a few days.
