Saluting brave soldiers for their sacrifices, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday expressed condolences to their families.
Incidentally, the army said on Thursday it lost six soldiers in two avalanches which hit an army post and a patrol on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district.
"Condolences to the families of our brave jawans. Salute to the bravest of the brave. Jai Hind," Banerjee tweeted.
She also conveyed heartiest greetings to all on the 68th Republic Day.
