Taking a dig at Mamata Banerjee for saying that she doesn't accept him as the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi on Thursday said the West Bengal Chief Minister rather feels proud to accept Pakistan's Prime Minister and accused her of insulting the Constitution.
"One can easily gauge the level of her anxiety hearing the language she has been using... Didi is even insulting the country's Constitution," Modi said at an election meeting at Kamladanga in Bankura district.
"You will be shocked to know she has been publicly saying that she is not ready to accept the Prime Minister of the nation, whereas she feels proud to accept Pakistan's Prime Minister."
Modi accused Banerjee of destroying Bengal as "she is addicted to power in the state".
"Now, she is further bent on destroying the state out of fear of losing power. She is not bothered about 'Ma Maati Maanush' but her own benefits, seat of power and also her relatives, nephew and extortionists," he said.
Modi said he was told that the Trinamool government tried its best to stop the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from holding the rally. "But no one can stop the person who has the blessing of the people."

Modi reiterated his earlier accusation that the Trinamool Congress chief neither received nor returned his calls to assess the losses inflicted by cyclone Fani last week.
"During the cyclone, I called her twice but she ignored it due to her arrogance and preferred not to speak to me. The Central government wanted to conduct a meeting with the state officials in order to extend help, but she refused," he said.
"This injustice done to Bengal" and "Didi's arrogance" would ruin the state, Modi added.
Addressing BJP workers, Modi said the entire nation was "talking about the way you people are standing face-to-face with the Trinamool backed miscreants".
"The anarchy spread by Didi in Bengal is strengthening the resolve to remove her from power.
"She is the Chief Minister but she is allowing all sorta of people to run the show. The Trinamool is there only in name, but the actual show is being run by Jagai Madhai (a nexus between Trinamool leaders and extortionists and miscreants)," he said.
Modi also said extortionists of Banerjee's party were "not sparing MNREGA as well". Possessing job cards is the right of the beneficiaries but "these are also snatched by these Trinamool extortionists" who were also "looting funds sent by the centre" for welfare schemes.
"Tell me, should the people who have robbed you be spared?" he asked.
Modi also took potshots at Banerjee for seeking proof of airstrikes carried out by the Indian Air Force on terror camps in Pakistan while using Bangladeshi artists in Trinamool's poll campaign and "backing" infiltrators.
"Didi has 'mamta' (kindness) for infiltrators and foreign artists, but she has no feelings for the sons of the soil who are playing the role of protectors of the country. Have you seen when our strong sons attacked the terrorists by entering their shelters, she demanded the number of dead bodies of the terrorists."
He said when the entire country was celebrating the airstrikes, "West Bengal refused to do so".
"People who don't know how to praise the achievements and valour of the nation will be punished by the people of the nation and the state.
"People are giving their mandate for a strong government," he added.
