Manchester City forward Nolito arrived on Sunday in Spain to undergo a medical and sign a three-year contract with Spanish football club Sevilla.
The Spanish international arrived in Seville after both Spanish and English clubs reached an agreement on his transfer, reports Efe.
Sevilla announced that if Nolito passes the medical, he will ink his new contract with the club.
The Spanish club had negotiated with the English Premier League (EPL) side to loan the 30-year-old Spaniard, but both clubs finally reached an agreement on a permanent transfer for more than 8 million euros ($9.1 million).
The Spaniard acknowledged at the end of the last season that he was looking to leave Man City to play more, particularly before the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Nolito, former player of Barcelona B, joined Man City in 2016 from La Liga side Celta Vigo for 18 million euros ($20.64 million) with a contract until the end of the 2019-2020 season.
