An armed man opened fire at the headquarters of French newspaper Liberation in Paris Monday around 10.15 a.m., injuring one person before running away, local media reported Monday.
The 27-year-old photographer was shot in the chest and is in critical condition, Xinhua reported citing French newspaper Le Figaro's website.
The entrance to the building was soon blocked.
