A man was arrested on Saturday for allegedly cheating several people, as also a French company, of several crore of rupees, a Delhi Police officer said.
Manjeet Sangwan, 51, who was declared a proclaimed offender in at least two cases and had been absconding since 2011, was nabbed from Gurgaon in Haryana by the Crime Branch.
"Sangwan used to run a readymade garments business and is wanted in cases of cheating and copyright infringement in Delhi. He has cheated people as well as French company of several crore of rupees," said Joint Commissioner of Police Ravindra Yadav.
