Moscow, May 11 (IANS/RIA Novosti) A man suspected of making a false bomb threat call to police, because he was afraid to miss a train bound for south Russia from Moscow, has been arrested, the interior ministry said.

The suspect is a resident of southern Volgograd region. He was born in 1987, the ministry's transport department said.

As a result of the hoax, the train bound for Novorossiisk city, was stopped at Domodedovo station in Moscow region.

The man, who did not miss the train despite fears, was detained by law enforcement officers.

"No explosive devices have been discovered in the train," said a spokesman for the transport department.
