A civilian was killed and two policemen were injured in a guerrilla attack Wednesday in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, an official said.
A police vehicle was attacked by militants in Pampore town, 14 km from Srinagar, a police officer told IANS.
"A passer-by was killed and two policemen were injured in this attack. Reinforcements have been rushed to the spot to evacuate the injured and trace the militants," the officer said.
Seven Border Security Force (BSF) troopers, including an assistant commandant, were injured in Pampore town when guerrillas attacked their vehicle Aug 11.
