The Border Security Force (BSF) Monday arrested a Maoist in Odisha's Malkangiri area, said a BSF official.
Acting on specific intelligence inputs, troops of the BSF's 61 Battalion deployed in Malkangiri arrested Parmeshwar, 31, from Chitrakonda market.
Parmeshwar was working as an aide to top Maoists in Malkangiri.
"He has been handed over to Chitrakonda police," said the officer.
