Maoist guerrillas on Thursday set on fire machines used for building a bridge over the Harkatwa river in Jharkhand's Giridih district.
The Maoists, numbering 15 to 25, raided a camp office at Bandh Panchayat and set on fire a mixture machine, generator and a vehicle.
Denial of protection money was said to be reason for the attack, police said.
