Passenger car market-leader Maruti Suzuki on Monday reported a rise of 23 percent in sales of its factory-fitted CNG (compressed natural gas) vehicles during 2014-15.
According to the company, the sales of its factory-fitted CNG vehicles stood at 62,996 units.
The contribution of CNG vehicles to total sales of the company also increased to 5.4 percent from 4.9 percent in 2013-14.
Currently, the company offers six dual-fuel (CNG and petrol) models namely Alto, Alto K-10, Celerio, Wagon R, Eeco and Ertiga.
