Italian defender Mattia De Sciglio inked a five-year contract with Juventus, the Serie A football champions announced on Thursday.
De Sciglio joins Juventus for 12 million euros ($22.97 million) apart from 500,000 euros ($574,260) as variables, after six years at their fellow Serie A club Milan, reports Efe.
The 24-year-old right back moved to Juventus, the 2017 UEFA Champions League finalist, at the request of coach Massimiliano Allegri, who had worked with him at Milan.
Capped 31 times, De Sciglio is set to compensate for the departure of Brazilian Dani Alves, after he parted company with Juventus before joining Paris Saint-Germain.
This is the fourth deal for Juventus this transfer window, after Uruguayan midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur, Brazilian winger Douglas Costa and Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.
