Director Shoojit Sircar, who is anxiously awaiting the release of his forthcoming comedy-drama film "Piku", says meditation is a compulsory part of our lives and it should be used as a subject in school.
"All schools shd hv compulsory 1hr of meditation session every day.. Start cultivating from now.. It shd be part of curriculum," Sircar wrote on Twitter on Sunday.
On work front, his forthcoming directorial "Piku", which stars Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan, will release on May 8.

Ritesh Deshmukh in 'Masti' mood
"Masti" released over a decade back, but its actor Ritesh Deshmukh, who has given hits like "Ek Villain" and "Lai Bhaari", is all nostalgic about the film.
"This week my DP is dedicated to MASTI -my first multi starter film- first of the 4 films directed by Indra kumar - 5th starting soon GGM," Ritesh, married to actress Genelia Deshmukh, tweeted.
"I have done multiple films with most of my Costars from #Masti - @geneliad @LaraDutta @ajaydevgn -& d Grands @AftabShivdasani @vivek_oberoi.
"#Masti - got my first ever award - Best Actor in a comic role - Screen Award - I dedicated that to my aai. My reel life Baiko became my real life Baiko. @geneliad #Masti," he added.
Not only this much, Ritesh said that after watching "Masti", filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh asked him to work in a film together with him.
"After watching #Masti @sujoy_g told me - 'Chal saath mein kaam kartien hain'," Ritesh added.
"Masti", which also starred Ajay Devgan, Aftab Shivdasani and Vivek Oberoi, released in April 2004.

Why SRK believes losing is not a loss?
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was left disheartened after his Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) lost their last match to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), but he still had something to cheer about.
"That crucial time of nite when u hope the littlest 1 is awake & shouts out 'YAY KKR', when I reach home. An age where losing is not a loss," SRK posted on Twitter on Saturday referring to his youngest son AbRam.
In another post, the "Chennai Express" star also congratulated RCB and its captain Virat Kohli for their win over KKR.
"Congrats RCB & Virat. Heartbreaking loss but 1 team has to win, am glad it was urs. My KKR damn proud that all of us r chipping in. Awesome," Shah Rukh wrote.
