Metro services on Blue Line affected

Metro services on Blue Line, connecting Delhi's Dwarka to Vaishali and Noida areas of Uttar Pradesh, were affected on Thursday after smoke was noticed coming out of a train, said officials.

The incident took place at Patel Nagar metro station at 4 p.m. when some passengers on the platform noticed smoke billowing out of the Dwarka-Vaishali train.

According to fire officials, all the passengers were immediately evacuated and four fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
