The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Thursday said its train services on Diwali will start at its usual time of 6 a.m. but end at 10 p.m. -- an hour early.
"The train services will start as usual at 6.00 a.m. on Diwali (Sunday) but our last trains for the day will leave from their designated stations at 10.00 p.m., an hour early from the usual time of 11.00 p.m.," Anuj Dayal, DMRC spokesperson told IANS.
He said similar timings were followed last year as well to facilitate the commuters. However, in 2014, the last train was scheduled at 8 p.m.
Later, it was increased by two hours to provide continuous connectivity, he added.
