Microsoft Devices Wednesday launched three new Windows smartphones - Lumia 830, Lumia 730 and Lumia 930, a top company official said here.
Lumia 830 will be available in India from Oct 8 at Rs.28,799, Lumia 730 will be available starting Oct 6 at Rs.15,299 and Lumia 930 will be available from Oct 15 at Rs.38,649.
"We recognized the potential of the affordable smartphone segment. Building on our momentum in this space, today we introduce three new devices, Lumia 930, 830 and Lumia 730, which we believe will help us consolidate our position in the mid-priced smartphone market in India," Ajey Mehta, managing director, Nokia India Sales, a subsidiary of Microsoft Mobile Oy said.
Lumia 730 is a dual SIM phone.
Going forward, the company will focus more on affordable devices in India, but he declined to comment on the number of affordable devices that might be rolled out. He also declined to give a roadmap for high-end and affordable devices ratio of the company in India.
