A MiG-27 fighter jet, which was on a routine mission from Jodhpur, crashed in a village in Sirohi, Rajasthan, on Sunday, a Defence official said.
"Today (Sunday) morning at around 11.45 a.m., a MiG-27 UPG aircraft which flew from Utarlai Air Force base experienced engine problems leading to a crash at about 120 km south of Jodhpur. The pilot ejected safely," the official added.
