Due to clear overnight sky, the minimum temperatures in the Kashmir Valley and the Ladakh region again dropped below the freezing point on Friday.
"The weather is likely to remain dry in Jammu and Kashmir in the next 24-hours with minimum temperatures expected to fall further," a Met official said.
At minus 13 degrees Celsius, Kargil town was the coldest in the state followed by Leh at minus 11.5.
Srinagar city recorded a minimum of 0.7, while Pahalgam and Gulmarg recorded minus four and minus six, respectively.
Minimum temperatures throughout the Jammu region, however, remained above the freezing point.
Jammu city recorded 8.4, Katra 8.9, Batote 4.6, Banihal 0.8, Bhaderwah 2.4 and Udhampur 4.9 degrees Celsius.
