Actress Mitaali Nag, who welcomed her first child -- son Rudranssh -- earlier this year, will return to acting with forthcoming TV show "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon". She will be seen as actor Barun Sobtis mother in the show.
"I was working till the eighth month of my pregnancy and now I am all set to return to the arc lights. I am looking forward to playing a mother on screen because now I can relate to the emotions for real," Mitaali, best known for her role in "Afsar Bitiya", said in a statement.
"As a new mother myself, I can completely relate to the character that I'll be portraying on screen. My husband has been extremely supportive, and I'm glad to be back on screen with this show," she added.
Also featuring Shivani Tomar, "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon" will soon be aired on Star Plus.

Siddhant always excited to work with father Shankar Mahadevan

Renowned composers Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have composed the title track of forthcoming historical drama show "Aarambh", which has been sung by Shankar Mahadevan's son Siddhant Mahadevan and singer Mahalaxmi Iyer. Siddhant says he is "always excited" to work with his father.
Written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad of "Baahubali" and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" fame, "Aarambh" will narrate the clash of two civilisations -- Dravidians and Aryans -- born and built out of two different existential needs.
It will feature Rajneesh Duggal, Karthika Nair, and Tanuja Mukherji.
"I am always excited to work with dad. It is a comfortable environment and I am excited about this project. The beats are very inspiring and we all got goosebumps while recording for the track," Siddhant said in a statement.
"Aarambh" will be aired on Star Plus.

Rohan Rai learns tabla for TV show
Actor Rohan Rai, who can play various musical instruments like congo, bongo, flute and harmonium, added tabla to the list when he got a chance to learn playing it while shooting for TV show "Piyaa Albela".
Rohan, who plays the role of Anuj in the show, has been learning to play musical instruments since he was four years old.
"I am extremely excited about the upcoming track of 'Piyaa Albela'. It presented me with a wonderful opportunity to learn and play the tabla. Learning new musical instruments is my passion. Since I was barely four years old, I have been learning new instruments," Rohan said in a statement.
"I always wanted to learn the tabla, but couldn't as I was simultaneously doing my modelling assignments too. As per the new track, I will be seen playing the instrument in the show and I seized this opportunity to learn the tabla.
"It is a dream come true as this time around, there is a professional motivation to play the instrument too. I have to learn it so that I am convincing while I play it on screen," he added.
"Piyaa Albela" is aired on Zee TV.

Nitant Kaushik enjoying 'Shaurya' role
Actor Nitant Kaushik, who is seen as Eklavya in mythological show "Shaurya Veer Eklavya Ki Gatha", says unlike his shy nature in real life, he likes to do full justice to his role and enjoy his work.
"I enjoy playing the character of Eklavya. My father is also an artist and I have grown up watching him deeply devoted to the characters that he has portrayed by far in his career, hence I get the drill from him," Nitant, 13, said in a statement.
"I may come across as a very shy person, but when it comes to acting I get into the skin of the character to try and ensure aptness," he added.
"Shaurya Veer Eklavya Ki Gatha", aired on BIG Magic, also features Pratima Kannan.
