Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday invited people to take part in an online quiz on the initiatives his government has taken in the past two years.

"An interesting governance quiz... Let's see how many of you get it right. quiz.mygov.in," Modi tweeted.

The web-link 'https://quiz.mygov.in/' provided in his tweet opens a site that says people will get to know more about government programmes through the quiz.

"So how well do you know about the government of India's initiatives in the past two years to improve the governance scenario? Are you ready to take a quiz on this subject?" says the main page of the website.

"MyGov challenges you to come and test your knowledge. And if you don't know the answers, take the quiz anyhow to know about the various programmes, maybe a lucky guess or two will make you a winner... either way, you will get to know about what your government has been doing for you."

The final answers to the questions will be published once the online quiz concludes, the website said.

It also mentioned a "grand prize" for the winners.

"A certificate signed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and an opportunity to meet him in person," the website said.

The Modi-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government has embarked on a major public relations exercise to highlight its achievements on completion of two years in office.

There is "no age restriction" for the participants of the quiz contest, being held from May 25 till 23:59 hrs (IST) on June 5.

As per the terms and conditions, entries submitted cannot be withdrawn and the top three participants will be declared winners.

"Each of the three winners will be notified on the email address associated with their MyGov ID," it said.

In case of more than three participants with highest scores, those who have solved the 'governance quiz' in the shortest time will be selected as the winners. This selection will be done on the basis of the system logs.

One user can participate only once in the quiz.

If a winner cannot be contacted within three working days from the date of announcement of results, he or she will forfeit the prize and another winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries.

The organisers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the quiz at any time.
