Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi has invited heads of all the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) members for his swearing-in ceremony May 26, sources said Wednesday.
"The letters to the SAARC heads are being sent for the swearing-in ceremony scheduled for May 26 (Monday)," a source said.
Modi, who was Tuesday elected leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party's parliamentary party as also the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), will take oath as India's 14th prime minister.
