Prime Minister Narendra Modi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and a host of others on Tuesday extended birthday greetings to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
"Birthday greetings to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. I pray for his long life and good health," Modi tweeted. Kejriwal replied: "Thank u so much sir."
Mamata Banerjee tweeted: "Happy birthday Arvind Kejriwalji. Wishing you good health and a long life ahead." The Aam Aadmi Party leader, who enjoys a good rappor with her, responded: "Thank you so much Mamtadi."
Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu, former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, Delhi BJP leader Vijender Gupta and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav too greeted Kejriwal.
Kejriwal reached Ahmedabad on Tuesday to pay tributes to the late Pramukh Swami of the Swaminarayan sect. The spiritual guru and head of the Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Santha breathed his last on August 13.
Cricketer Virender Sehwag, boxer Vijender Singh and Bollywood stars Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani and Vishal Dadlani, who is also a vocal supporter of Kejriwal, also extended birthday greetings.

While acknowledging many birthday greetings separately, Kejriwal tweeted: "Received birthday greetings from many friends, relatives, supporters. I sincerely thank everyone for their warm wishes."
Congress spokesman Sanjay Jha said in his message: "A Happy Birthday to India's original Muffler Man." Filmmaker Shirish Kunder said: "Happy Birthday Arvind Kejriwal. Thank you for giving us hope when we had come to accept that choosing the lesser evil was our best option."
Although Modi and Kejriwal have been locked in a bitter war of words, the Prime Minister wished the AAP leader on his birthday last year too - after he became Delhi's Chief Minister.
Kejriwal, who founded the AAP in 2012, turned 48 on Tuesday.
