Attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his silence on Rafale deal, Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday claimed that he had personally re-negotiated the deal with France and none of the four "revolving" Defence Ministers knew anything about it.

"Since 2014, India has had 4 revolving Raksha Mantris. Now we know why. It gave the PM space to personally re-negotiate RAFALE with the French.

"India has had 4 "RAFALE Mantris". But, none of them know what really transpired in France. Except the PM. But he won't speak!" he said in a series ot tweets.

Congress on Tuesday gave a notice to Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan to move a privilege motion against Modi and Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for allegedly misleading the House by not revealing the price of the Rafale fighter jets bought from France.
