Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday greeted the people of Seychelles on the occasion of their National Day.
Modi took to Twitter and said that India and Seychelles enjoy a "special relationship".
"My dearest sisters and brothers of Seychelles, on your National Day, I convey my warmest greetings and best wishes. India and Seychelles enjoy a relationship that is special, characterised by tremendous goodwill. Seychelles is a vital and valued partner in the Indian Ocean region," Modi said.
"I warmly recall my visit to your nation in March, during which we agreed to deepen our cooperation in a wide range of areas. I am confident that our ties will become much stronger in years to come," Modi said.
