Real Madrid's Luka Modric, who returned to the field after a knee surgery, on Monday made himself available for the Croatia national football team's two matches to be held later this month.
Modric was called up by Croatia for the 2018 World Cup qualifying match against Iceland here on November 12 and the friendly tie against Northern Ireland on November 15, reports Efe.
The 31-year-old midfielder, who on Sunday returned to the Santiago Bernabeu after 40 days on the sidelines due to a left knee surgery, told sports daily Sportske Novosti that he has fully recovered.
Sportske Novosti reported that Modric will start on the bench against Iceland, while Croatia coach Ante Cacic will decide in the course of the game whether he will include him and for how long.
