Hrithik Roshan-starrer "Mohenjo Daro" minted Rs 30.54 crore on its opening weekend in India, its makers said.
The film had taken in Rs 8.87 crore on Friday in India.
The epic adventure-romance collected Rs 9.6 crore on Saturday (day two) and Rs 12.07 crore on Sunday (day three) taking the cumulative total to Rs 30.54 crore NBOC (Net Box Office Collection), a statement from the film's makers said.
Directed by internationally acclaimed filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, the film marks debut of Pooja Hegde and is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Sunita Gowariker.
The film brings an epic adventure-romance story on the silver screen. It is set in the city of Mohenjo Daro in the era of the Indus Valley civilisation which dates back to 2,600 BC.

The film written, produced and directed by Gowariker, is Hrithik's second collaboration with the filmmaker after the 2008 film "Jodhaa Akbar".
