Mohun Bagan's Haitian recruit Sony Norde will arrive here Sep 28, the city football giant announced Thursday.
The club signed the professional in July as their fourth foreign recruit for the season. The 25-year-old striker had drawn attention with his fine performance when he turned out in Kolkata for Lt. Sk. Jamal Dhanmondi Club in the 118th IFA Shield.
Norde earlier secured a spot at Argentine Club Boca Juniors.
Norde, accompanied by his family, is undertaking the long journey from the Caribbean nation via Santo Domingo, Panama, Amsterdam and New Delhi.
He has also represented the Haiti national football team at the youth and senior levels. He represented the national team at the 2008 CONCACAF Olympic qualification tournament as also in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
