Seed producing major Monsanto India posted net profit of Rs.106 crore for 2014-15 as against Rs.123 crore in 2013-14, registering a 13 percent decline.
According to the company's financial results for fiscal 2015), total income also declined 3 percent to Rs.578 crore from Rs.596 crore the year ago.
For Q4, Monsanto India posted net loss of Rs.8.3 crore as against net loss of Rs.6.1 crore in like period year ago.
Total income for Q4 also declined to Rs.71 crore from Rs.78 crore in same period year ago, registering a degrowth of 8.9 percent.
