A strong field of more than 100 golfers will tee off at the inaugural India Masters to be held at the Eagleton Golf Resort here from Oct 29 to Nov 1.
This is the first time the Asian Development Tour (ADT) and Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) have come together to unveil a tournament, which has a prize purse of $70,000.
The list of international players includes Ireland's Niall Turner and American Brett Munson, placed third and fourth respectively on the ADT Order of Merit.
Lindsay Renolds of Canada, who was on the same team with PGA Tour player Dustin Johnson for three years at the Coastal Carolina University, will be making his first visit to the Eagleton Golf Resort.
Two-time European Tour winner S.S.P. Chowrasia, ADT regular Shubhankar Sharma and Khalin Joshi, who won his maiden title at the Noida Golf Course last week, will spearhead the Indian challenge.

India Masters will raise the 2014 ADT schedule to an unprecedented 21 tournaments which includes 12 tournaments in Malaysia, three in Chinese Taipei, three in the Philippines and two in Indonesia.
With only three events left to play on the ADT this season, players will have everything to play for as the top-5 finishers on the Order of Merit at the end of the season will earn 2015 Asian Tour cards.
