Russia's aviation agency Rosaviatsia has banned flights by EgyptAir, Egypt's state-owned airline, to Russia from Saturday, the Interfax news agency said, quoting an unnamed source of Moscow's Domodedovo airport.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the suspension of all of the country's flights to Egypt following the crash of a Russia-bound airliner on October 31 shortly after its takeoff from Egypt's Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, killing all 224 people onboard, mostly Russians.
