Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Kamal Nath said on Tuesday that the party's bullock cart rally in the state capital during the day symbolises the people's pain over the rising fuel prices across the country.

"When crude oil was priced 116 dollars per barrel in the international market but people got petrol and diesel at cheap prices, Shivraj Singh Chouhan used to ride a bicycle to protest. Now, the crude oil costs less than 100 dollars per barrel and petrol costs over Rs 80 per litre, he is not ready to protest," the Congress leader told the media here.

The Congress will take out a bullock cart rally from the party office to the Chief Minister's residence here and later submit a memorandum to Chouhan on the issue.
