Popular Telugu music composer Chakradhar Gilla aka Chakri died here Monday, said a family source. He was 40.
"He returned home late last night from his studio. In the morning, when his wife couldn't wake him up, he was rushed to Apollo Hospital. He was declared dead on arrival," the family source told IANS.
"The doctors are yet to confirm the cause of death. It is suspected to be heart attack," he added.
Born June 15, 1974, Chakri started his career by composing music for independent albums. In 2000, he made his debut as music composer for Telugu film "Baachi".
Till now, he has composed music for over 80 Telugu films. His last released album was for Vishnu Manchu-starrer Telugu film "Errabus".
Some of Chakri's popular albums include "Devadasu", "Desamuduru", "Krishna" and "Maska".
He has one Filmfare and Nandi award to his credit.
