Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar on Wednesday described the Indian Army's precision strike against insurgents inside neighbouring Myanmar as a "lesson to those who incite terror".

"The military action against the insurgents, with help from the Myanmar government, speaks volumes about India's resolve to fight terror...this is a lesson and a message to all terror groups...that India will not hesitate in going beyond her geographical boundaries to eliminate terrorists," Javadekar told the media here.

The Indian Army struck inside Myanmar in the early hours of Tuesday and killed many insurgents, believed to be involved in the dastardly killing of 18 Indians soldiers in Manipur on June 4.

However, Javadekar declined comment when asked if India would launch a similar strike against Pakistan-based groups engaged in terror activists against India.
