Union Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu on Friday briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the drought situation, situation of the monsoon and the flagship Swachh Bharat programme on the Prime Minister's return from his five-nation tour.
Naidu, in a series of tweets on Friday, said he met the Prime Minister at his office and the latter reviewed the progress of "Vikas Parv", a part of the mass outreach drive to commemorate the second anniversary of the Narendra Modi-led NDA government.
The Vikas Parv had union ministers, including those from allied parties, and central leaders visiting different states on May 26 to mark two years of the Modi government.
"PM enquired about drought situation, monsoon and Swachh Bharat... Briefed PM about the situation (sic)," he said in a tweet.
"5 Countries, 6 Days, 40 Meetings,,, PM is looking relaxed... Working as usual.. Never tired... Great energy..." the minister added.
