Valencia Portuguese winger Luis Nani did not work out on Saturday with his teammates in the last training session ahead of Sunday's La Liga clash against Sporting Gijon Football Club.
The international winger trained well during the last training sessions with his side and new coach Cesare Prandelli. Sunday's match will mark Prandelli's debut of being at the helm of Valencia, reports Efe.
However, Nani will not appear against Gijon, as he will try to completely recover from his muscle problems so that he can participate against Barcelona next Saturday.
Brazilian Guilherme Siqueira also missed Saturday's training session and will not appear in Sunday's game due to muscle problems.
