Napoli on Sunday failed to top the Serie A table after a 0-0 home draw against Fiorentina in the 16th round of the Italian League.
After this tie, Napoli with 39 points is in second position in the table, just one point behind Serie A leader Inter Milan, reports Efe.
Fiorentina is seventh with 22 points.
Inter Milan on Saturday snatched a single point after a 0-0 away draw against defending champion Juventus, which is placed third with 38 points.
Roma, which occupies the fourth position with 35 points, missed an opportunity to shorten the gap with the top three rivals after a scoreless draw against Chievo on Sunday.
Spal was held 2-2 to Hellas Verona, while Udinese grabbed a 2-0 home win over Benevento in the same round.
