Napoli's attacking mid-fielder Marek Hamsik has been ruled out of Tuesday's Champions League football match against German Bundeliga club Borussia Dortmund in Dortmund.
Napoli released a statement Sunday confirming that the Slovakian international's condition will be evaluated over the next few days, reports Xinhua.
Hamsik played for only nine minutes as a substitute in Saturday's 0-1 loss to Parma before limping off.
Medical tests found there are no fractures or lesions in his left foot, but he suffered a heavy blow in the game against Parma in the area where there was a bruise.
