Admiral R.K. Dhowan on Wednesday dodged questions related to the AgustaWestland scam, saying all aspects and decisions related to the probe were being looked into by the government.

"Whatever is happening, as you know, the government of India is probing... Whatever decision that needs to be taken will be taken by the government of India... Whatever investigations are needed to be done are being done," Dhowan told reporters on the sidelines of an Indian Navy function here in Goa.

Asked whether service chiefs should have to mandatorily undergo a cooling-off period before accepting commercial assignments post-retirement, in context of the alleged role of Air Chief Marshal S.P. Tyagi (retd) in the AgustaWestland VVIP chopper scam, Dhowan said: "I think this is an aspect which is looked at by the government of India (along with) all aspects related to what is going on in that connection."
