The Houston Rockets came from behind in the fourth quarter at the Toyota Center to narrowly beat the New York Knicks 102-100 in an NBA game.

The Rockets looked set to be losing the game Friday night when the Knicks made a fatal mistake in the last minute and gave away their hard won advantage, reports Xinhua.

With 19 seconds left in a tie game 100-100, the Knicks hoisted a 3-pointer they didn't have to take and missed it. The Knicks then fouled Aaron Brooks on the rebound and Brooks' two free throws with 17 seconds remaining gave the Rockets the win.

James Harden led all the players with 37 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Chandler Parsons added a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds. Dwight Howard had 15 points while Jeremy Lin scored all of his 14 points before halftime.

Knicks guard Iman Shumpert finished with 26 points. Forward Carmelo Anthony added 25 points.
