Neeraj Ghaywan's new short film on Indian society

National Award winning director Neeraj Ghaywan of "Masaan" fame has come up with a short film "Juice", which showcases how a hot and humid summer evening unfolds to question the beliefs and practices that are ingrained in Indian society.

"Juice" features Shefali Shah and Manish Chowdhary. The film is being presented by Royal Stag Barrel Select Large Short Films, read a statement.

"I am very happy to present another short film to my audience and I am pleased to associate with Royal Stag Barrel Select Large Short Films. I believe it is the perfect platform to celebrate the short film industry in the country and has truly been the torchbearer for short films in the country.

 

"I would like to thank them for the phenomenal work that they are doing. This platform truly encourages and motivates young filmmakers to exhibit their work perfectly," Ghaywan said.

Raja Banerji, Assistant Vice President, Marketing at Pernod Ricard India, believes "it is wonderful to see how short films are attracting a great audience online as well as great talent from the mainstream film industry and popular artistes in the country".
