Nepal Minister for Foreign Affairs Prakash Sharan Mahat has said that a new chapter would be added to Nepal-India relations.

Mahat said so while talking to media persons upon his arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport from India after a three-day visit, the Kathmandu Post reported.

Mahat said that he held friendly meetings with Indian leaders including External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Energy Minister Piyush Goyal and Minister for Water Resources Uma Bharti regarding bilateral relations and cooperation.

Mahat came to India to prepare the ground for the upcoming visit of Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' to India. Dahal is scheduled to arrive in Delhi on Thursday on a four-day state visit to India.
