Justice Ved Prakash Vaish was on Monday sworn-in as the new judge of the Meghalaya High Court.
Chief Justice Dinesh Maheshwari administered the oath of office to Vaish, who was earlier a judge in the Delhi High Court, at a ceremony at the high court.
With his joining, the three-judge bench will be full. Besides Chief Justice Maheshwari, Justice Sudip Ranjan Sen is the other member of the bench.
Vaish replaces Justice T.N.K. Singh who retired earlier this year.
