New Zealand 24/1, trail India by 220 runs

New Zealand were 24 for one in their second innings and trailed India's first innings score of 438 all out by 222 runs at the end of day two in the second and final Test at the Basin Reserve here Saturday.

Zaheer Khan dismissed Peter Fulton (1) in the second over to immediately put the hosts on the backfoot.

Hamish Rutherford (18 batting) and Kane Williamson (4 batting) were the two unbeaten batsmen at stumps.
