The next 10 years would be "very critical" for India's rise and the "business-as-usual approach should make way for radical reorientation", Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu said Tuesday.

Naidu said India was at an "inflection point" and instead of talking about its "potential", the discourse should be about its "rise".

"The next 10 years will be very critical for the rise of India and all stakeholders should do their bit to reinvent the India story," Naidu said at the 41st Annual Convocation of the All India Management Association here.

With substantial involvement of the private sector, the challenges of urbanisation could be converted into an opportunity, he added.

"Ideas, innovation, investments and implementation hold the key to reinventing the India story," Naidu said.

He also said India's manpower was its major resource which should be empowered to contribute to economic growth.
