The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Wednesday issued notice to the Madhya Pradesh government over the reported death of 116 children due to malnutrition in one of its districts.
The commission, learning about the incident through media reports, said the children have died due to malnutrition-related ailments in Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh during the last five months.
